Make the records usable
An accounting handover should explain how the business earns revenue, pays suppliers and records transactions. Bring together the invoice process, expense records, bank statements and any existing bookkeeping exports. Identify gaps openly so the review can distinguish missing records from unexplained transactions.
Agree the rhythm of reporting
Decide who supplies documents, who reviews the figures and how questions are resolved. A regular handover is easier to manage than a last-minute collection of files. Discuss the reports the business actually needs and keep statutory reporting requirements distinct from management information.
The next step
Tell us what you want to achieve, where you plan to operate and what is already in place. We will work through the dependencies before agreeing the next step.
