The Two Primary Residency Routes
- Residency via Company Formation: By incorporating a Montenegrin DOO and appointing yourself as Executive Director (Izvršni Direktor), you are entitled to annual renewable work and residence permits. No minimum job creation or annual turnover quotas apply.
- Residency via Real Estate Ownership: Acquiring residential property (apartments, villas, or houses) of any value grants the owner eligibility for an annually renewable residence permit, provided the title deed (List Nepokretnosti) is clear of unpermitted encumbrances.
